Marketing & Communications Associate

Job Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Creates outline and plan for written and visual content for marketing: banners, brochures, flyers, social media, and website

  • Creates website content or online promotional materials

  • Prepares articles for online and in-person reach to target audience

  • Prepares research on relevant topics


Communications

  • Handles public relations, information delivery and advertising to improve customer relations.

  • Conducts information sessions and/or seminars for clients on relevant topics


Graphics/Media

  • Designs written and visual content for marketing: banners, brochures, flyers, social media, and website

  • Designs campaigns for online and in-person reach to target audience

  • Designs social media posts and creative content

 

Note: All positions will involve assisting with office tasks like calls, seminars and events and cross-functional collaborations. We look for candidates who possess the flexibility to manage tasks.

 

Qualifications:

Basic:

–  Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of recent related work experience

 

Preferred:

–  Professional experience in supervisory roles in the field

Recruitment Process: 

  1. Round 1 Interview - Virtually on Zoom

  2. Round 2 Interview - In-person with CSI at Glendale office

  3. Round 3 Interview – In-person with the Employer (Downtown LA or the City of Commerce)

  4. Round 4 Interview (if required) – In-person or on Zoom

  5. If selected, a final In-Person meeting with CSI at Glendale office for an acceptance discussion


Note: During the interview process, candidates may also be considered for other roles that align with their educational background or professional experience, if applicable. This broader evaluation increases their chances of being accepted by the employer, especially if they are found to be a strong fit for alternative positions as well. 


Pay Structure:

  1. First 30 business days at work – Unpaid Observation Period

  2. After a performance evaluation at the end of the Observation Period, if your performance is above average, you will move to a Paid Probationary Period for 3-6 months.

  3. Salary starts close to the CA minimum wage. The range is $30,000 to $40,000 per year for a full-time role.

  4. $30,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
