Job Summary

The A/R Specialist supports accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payment tracking, account reconciliation, and financial record maintenance. The position requires basic accounting knowledge and strong Microsoft Excel skills to manage financial data and reporting.


Job Description

  • Process invoices and monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances.

  • Track customer payments and assist with account reconciliation.

  • Prepare financial reports and organize accounting data using Microsoft Excel.

  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.

  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.

  • Assist with collections and follow up on outstanding customer balances.

  • Collaborate with accounting, finance, and internal teams regarding billing and payment matters.

  • Perform data entry, financial reporting, and other accounting-related administrative tasks.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Basic accounting and accounts receivable knowledge.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and PivotTables.

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.


Salary: The starting salary for this full-time role ranges from $30,000 to $40,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is competitive and aligned with California’s minimum wage standards, with opportunities for growth based on performance and contribution.
